As the medical team prepares for the upcoming C-section the tension in the operating room is palpable. The doctors and nurses move with a sense of purpose, meticulously ensuring that every instrument and piece of equipment is in its proper place. The mother, meanwhile, lies on the operating table, her eyes fixed on the ceiling above as she waits patiently for the arrival of her child.

As the procedure begins, the mother's breathing deepens, her body tense with anticipation. And then, in the blink of an eye, a new life enters the world.
The room erupts in the cheers and congratulations of the medical staff. It is a moment of profound joy and wonder, as the parents welcome their new child into the world.
After

procedure and the newborn baby is brought over to the mother, the emotion in the room is palpable. The mother's eyes light up with tears as she lays her eyes on her newborn child for the first time.
The bonding moment between the mother and her child is truly heart-wrenching. The sight of a new mother meeting her child for the first time is absolutely amazing.
The baby is carefully passed to the mother, and as she takes her child in her arms, the room is filled with a sense of wonder and awe.

Grateful for the Experience
Photographing a hospital in Surat, India was a truly enlightening experience.
From the moment I stepped foot inside the bustling facility, I was struck by the vibrant energy and sense of community that pervaded the halls.

The medical staff were incredibly welcoming and allowed me to capture the intricate details of their daily routines, from conducting surgeries to tending to patients. The hospital's architecture was also a highlight, with its striking blend of traditional and modern design elements.
Overall, my time at the hospital in Surat was a valuable and enriching experience that I am grateful to have had as a photographer. I am excited to share these photographs with others and to continue exploring the world of healthcare through my lens - Josef Eliasson

The project was a success, resulting in thousands of images delivered to the client. These images have been used for social media, print, and websites all over the world. As a bonus, the hospital and its staff were also able to use the images for their respective areas.
