How a High-Tech Hospital is Elevated by the Best People
I had the pleasure of photographing at Helsinki Hospital, a modern and well-designed facility. The people I met there made the experience truly special, reminding me once again that it's the human element that brings a place to life.

This extensive shoot lasted for several days, during which I captured around 1500 images. The task at hand was to choose the best images and color-correct them according to the client's specifications, a process that took several weeks.
One of the most memorable moments of the shoot was witnessing a robot-assisted surgery in action, a truly unique experience. It was fascinating to observe the precision and technology involved in such a complex procedure.
I am thrilled to have played a part in this project, knowing that the images I captured are being used all around the world for my client Dräger. It was a pleasure to work alongside the dedicated staff at the Øjenafd Hospital, and I am proud of the final product we were able to create together.

As I wandered through the hospital, I couldn't help but be impressed by the modern design elements. The clean lines, natural light, and calming colors created a serene environment for both patients and staff. And as a photographer, I found these design elements to be incredibly photogenic. I captured images of the striking architecture and design, including the bright and airy waiting rooms and sleek, modern hallways.
Capturing the Human Spirit

But what truly made this photography project special was the people. As I wandered through the hospital, camera in hand, I was able to capture the human spirit in action. From doctors and nurses working tirelessly to care for patients, to patients and their families finding moments of joy and connection, there was a sense of hope and resilience that was palpable throughout the hospital.

As a photographer, I'm always inspired by the people I meet during my shoots. And the staff and patients at Helsinki Hospital were no exception. From the friendly hellos in the hallways to the heartwarming stories I heard during my time there, I felt privileged to capture the humanity of this special place. In the end, it was the people who truly made this project unforgettable.
